Modes of learning

When I read this book (can’t quite recall the title) on Edward Bach’s flower remedies, what I was struck by most was his mode of learning.

Apparently, when contemplating or undergoing any ailment, he would be led by his feet to the very plant or tree that would cure that ailment.  No assistance from old books, or people.  His mind would guide him to the appropriate species.

Wonder how this happens?  The Authorities sometimes say that all knowledge is in us; it being just a matter of removing the veils of ignorance.  In Bach’s case it certainly worked.
